Adding a contact to a customer

Contacts are added to resources.  A resource in WorkBook can be either a Prospect, Customer, Supplier etc. (described here). This article details how to add a new contact in V9. If you are using V8, please use the method as described here.

Adding a contact to a Client, Prospect, etc.

The method of adding a new contact to any resource type is the same. First, highlight the resource you care to add your contact to in the resource module. In the right hand menu, you’ll see a variety of tabs available for selection. Click the contact tab Screen Shot 2016-09-06 at 10.56.57 AM.

Here, you can review a list of all of the contacts available underneath this resource, as well as their basic contact information. In order to add a new contact underneath the resource, click the Screen Shot 2016-09-06 at 10.58.08 AM. This will bring up a dialog box for you to fill out with the data for the contact.

If you wish to add this contact to certain interest lists, client portals, or edit other detailed contact information, open the client contact card Screen Shot 2016-09-06 at 11.00.56 AM and change the information there accordingly.
