Azure Storage Provider

The Azure Storage Provider allows WorkBook to store documents in an Azure Storage Account.
As Azure storage is not your typical storage system and therefor WorkBook does a few interesting things when using Azure.

  • Because Azure Storage does not support directories, WorkBook fakes them by uploading a file named “WorkBookFolder.File” this file is NOT visible from the WorkBook interface.

  • An active Azure subscription
  • A storage Account Name
  • Storage credentials

Create a new storage provider of the type “Azure Blob Storage Provider”

Fill in the correct settings in the columns:

  • Account Name
  • Key
  • Use HTTPS (highly recommended)

Test the connection by clicking the Test Storage Provider icon.
